Vassia Strantzali was born in Volos, Greece in 1981. She graduated from the Dental School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in 2005, 2nd in her class. After receiving her dental degree, she worked at the Periodontology Department of 251 Air Force General Hospital in Athens, Greece as a clinical associate.
In 2006, she was accepted in the Advanced Educational Program in Periodontology at the School of Dentistry of the University of Minnesota, USA, where she completed her periodontal residency in 2009 and received her Certificate in Periodontology-Implantology on an outstanding level. In 2010, she received the degree of Master of Science after defending her master thesis titled “Nerve Fiber Patterns in Periodontitis”.
She is a member of the Greek Dental Association, the Cyprus Dental Association, as well as the American Academy of Periodontology and the Hellenic Society of Periodontology. Dr Strantzali is BLS and ACLS certified by the American Heart Association.
